Starting New Employment:
If you are starting new employment, we will need your signed offer letter
W-2 Employee:
If you are employed by an employer also known as a W-2 employee, we will need your TWO most recent paystubs. No outdated paystubs will be accepted. Paystubs must be up to date, consecutive and display your name, the companies name, year to date earnings & pay period date range.
Example of paystub:
1099 Employee/Self-employed/Independent Contractor or Own a business:
If you are a self-employed individual also known as a 1099 contractor, provide current year’s personal tax returns showing the 1099/business income, or business tax returns. If you have not been self-employed for a full year, please provide the last 3 months of your business bank account statements showing business name, month, & deposits going into the account.
Asset Income:
If providing asset income, assets must be liquid – the funds must be immediately available and not require a waiting/approval period for you to receive the funds.
Please provide the last 3 months’ worth of your asset account statements, showing your name, month & ending balances.
Child Support/Spousal Support:
If providing child support or spousal support income, we would accept the court ordered documentation. This document must show awarded amount & include your name.
SS Benefits/VA Benefits:
If providing benefit income, please provide your benefit letter showing recipients name & stating the monthly recurring amount being received.
Documentation NOT accepted:
- Photos of checks/check stubs
- Cash deposits
- Bank account statements unless otherwise mentioned above
- Banking transaction history
- Pay report
- Tax return for W-2 employees
- Letters of employment
- Computer/AI generated documents
